This is a level 3 folk horror and mystery one-shot for Pathfinder 2e based on a real-world folktale I grew up with in the Southern Appalachians. It should take 3–4 hours to complete. It features overland travel, environmental conditions, and investigation components, and the potential to acquire a special familiar CW: pet death

This rules supplement provides a new option for the creation of cryptids based on the five core fears: extinction, mutilation, separation, loss of autonomy, and ego death. It follows the structure in Dark Archives, so is a template to adjust pre-existing creatures.
