I'm Jess Miller-Camp (they/them). I'm a former vertebrate paleontologist, museum collections manager, and state park naturalist. I've combined my passions for nature, teaching, gaming, and creative pursuits to create Druid GM Designs. My goal is to enhance gaming experiences through knowledge of natural history.

I've been playing tabletop games since 2004. Most of my time has been spent with D&D 3.5, Pathfinder 1e, and Pathfinder 2e. I was a Venture-Lieutenant in Paizo Organized Play for four years, then served a two-year stint on the Organized Play Foundation board. I regularly participate in Path/Starfinder Society 2e and home games of Pathfinder 2e as both a player and GM, and have more recently been learning and running Carved From Brindlewood games.

"April Flowers of Pride" is all native woodland flowers of the Lower Midwest that bloom in April. Their colors represent the intersex-inclusive progress pride flag. It's karst topography with a blackwater pool. 

The flowers are: Fire Pink, Bear Corn, Celandine Poppy, Jack-in-the-Pulpit, Eastern Bluestar, Dwarf Larkspur, Virginia Bluebell, Common Pawpaw, and Downy Yellow Violet.

It was originally supposed to be a shallow spring coming out of a cave, but turns out the mud texture paste I used is reactivated by water resin, and will leach coffee into it if you don't seal it first. 😅 So we'll just pretend there's a very deep pile of leaves leaching tannins at the bottom of it.
